The original campus plans for the University of Florida at Gainesville were developed by the firm of Edwards & Walter. The Marriage and Family Clinic was one of five clinics in the Florida Center of Clinical Services, predecessor of the University Counseling Center at the University of Florida. The Marriage and Family Clinic was headed by Winston W. Ehrmann, Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Clinic performed marriage and pre-marital counseling and family counseling.
